Welcome to Rape Escape!Think about all the women you know. Now, consider that one of every four of them will be attacked or raped in their lifetime. You don't need to be convinced that it's a rough world out there. Because you have decided to take this first step in your own survival, you have already increased the odds in your favor -- dramatically. Women who resist are twice as likely to escape injury as others. One analysis of 3,000 actual assaults shows that half of the attackers fled from a woman who is willing to resist! The key, however, is to learn how to effectively resist.
Beyond 'Common Sense' Self-Defense Rape Escape is designed for the real world. This course is not the same old tired information you already know like “walk with confidence or don’t go to the ATM late at night”. Nor does it contain the ineffective advice like, “poke him in the eyes and run” or “just kick him where it counts”.Rape Escape has been designed to offer the best and most effective self-defense techniques for the average woman in realistic sexual assault situations. The average woman can reasonably expect to defend herself against the most common and probable attacks after learning and practicing the techniques presented.Rape Escape discourages techniques like eye gouging or fighting that prompts or enables the bad guy to hit back. If you try to fight the guy like a man would, the guy is going to win. So that’s why our motto is Fight Like a Girl!
What Others are Saying…I want to thank you for the wonderful class on Sunday. I went home exhausted and feeling so much better knowing I knew so much more than I had a few hours earlier. All women and young girls should have this class. So I am sort of taking it upon myself to tell as many women as I can about your class. “"I like the simplicity. I really like it." "I love it. I got so much out of it. I came here thinking avoidance, avoidance avoidance. I thought it was going to be how to walk, how to make eye contact, how to carry your keys, but this taught us about ‘you’re in it up to here, now what are you going to do?’"“I feel that if I had to use any of this, I could. No doubt about it.” Just a brief note to say thank you again for a great job in sharing valuable information. As a law enforcement officer and crime prevention practitioner, this information is passed along to some very grateful citizens. Thanks. Lt. David D'AgostinoIn my 20 years of Martial Arts training and 10 years of police work, I have seen many self-defense “systems.” Most of these systems are comprised of awareness training or complex martial arts moves. Brad Parker’s Rape Escape is different. Brad Parker takes a look at women’s self defense from a practical vantage point. Brad teaches simple techniques used on critical target areas, which gives the victim a better chance to escape. Many of the other self-defense systems I have examined are primarily a way for gym owners to draw in new clientele by praying on women’s fears. Brad has approached Rape Escape from the law enforcement side of his life and offered his knowledge and training to truly help and teach women. Many of the positions and scenarios that Brad uses are the same as I have seen in the sexual assaults that I have investigated.
